Turbo II Swap, Need help.
Need help with something. I'm being told the N/A drive shaft will not work with the Turbo II tranny. Some say I need to change the drive shaft and rear end. Others are saying the N/A drive shaft will work with the Turbo II tranny. Need to settle this. I'm days away from droppin in the new Turbo II engine and tranny. Startin to get frustrated. Any rotary masters out there have some advice?

These guys have been real helpful for you but just so you know, understand that if you like boost, the NA rear won't last forever (and probably not too long for the boost junkie).

Cool. I am a boost junkie. Been wantin to do this swap for a while. How long do you think I have before I blow the rear end or axles. Oh yeah. My FC is a 91 S5. It was a automatic. I bought a wrecked S4 with a manual transmission. Used all the parts on that to convert my FC to a standard. That was two years ago. Now I'm hearin while researching this TII swap that you are not supposed to bolt a S4 fly wheel to a S5 engine because they are weighted differently and supposedly can cause damage. It's ran strong ever since on the used clutch and every thing. So was that a load of bull or am I just lucky. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
