Do i really need a voltage stabilizer?
i'm installed an electric fan in my 2nd gen, i put in an s5 alternator so it could handle the load, but then whenever the sucker comes on my lights go a little dim, my blower motor for the heater/ac slows down.. and i don't have a radio.. but i wanna put one in my car... so i was woondering.. if those e-bay voltage stabilizer will help me with the dim lights and everything else... or is there any voltage crap i can get to resolve this issue?

To answer your question, NO you don't need a voltage stabilizer. These are like putting a band-aid on a spurting juggler vein: Too little and it's the wrong application.
What kind of fan do you have? Do you know the running amps?
Next question, do you still have the BAC in your car?
We should also verify how the alternator is wired.
The S5 alternator can handle many average efans. To do this, the alternator must be wired correctly so the load can be sensed and the output adjusted. Then the BAC must be working correctly to allow the engine to hold the idle correctly. If this all works correctly (and your fan is typical) the S5 will be ok, not great, but OK.
For example, my S5 alternator could handle the Taurus fan on low speed but could not handle the Taurus fan on high speed. You have the S5 alternator, let's see if we can help you get it to work. If you add a nice audio system later, you will need to upgrade your alternator to S6/FD or better.

ummm i'm not sure my BAC valve is wired correctly because i have to have my car idling at about 2000 rpm cause i can't get it to idle at less than 1000 because it'll start shacking like crazy... i know the car is misfiring... and i'm still trying to find the cause.. but then ya... so at 2000 rpm the rpm do drop when it goes on... and i have a 1 speed fan that's about the same size as the taurus fan... but it only turns at high speed... and i had to put a 40 amp fuse cause it kept blowing the 30's hehe.. and the alternator i took to kragen and had them test it... and it passed everything.. but later on i found out that the regulator might be bad because the alternator keeps draining my battery... i know this because i put a test light on the ground terminal of the battery... then touched the negative cable and the test light came on.. i unplugged the alternator and the light turned off... so ya.. it was draining my battery.. i'm not sure how this will affect the RPM drop though... my alternator i didn't splice the cables.. i found a connector that would go into the male plug of the s4 alternator and then wired the s5 connector to it.. just in case i ever went back to the s4 alternator.. and i'm planning on adding a superduper nice stereo... just a simple 200 watt with 4 speakers.. and maybe 2 little subs..
