I promised some more pics of my 84 GSL-SE and I finally got around to downsizing and compressing some for upload. I kept the size small for faster download. Hope you like them...
Interior shots...
Exterior shots...
She's pretty much stock, but then my street racing dayz have come and gone. (although, sometimes...) Guys my age are supposed to be out cruising in Ford Explorers or some such SUV lookin thing. - Never...!
I do plan to replace the ignition wiring, coils, rotor cap, etc soon. And... just might get a Bonez high flow cat system. Just might... someday!

You asked about door jam painting in another thread. A quality shop will paint your door jams, preserving your decals with NO overspray on the interior. I had this photo but forgot to upload it for you...

Haha, I was re-reading this thread to see what kinda stuff people had said, and I noticed they were painted in the first picture, and I was gonna comment on it. Then I got down here and you had just mentioned it. Maybe I remembered the color from your last thread..."laser red" just kinda popped into my head for some reason. It looks GREAT though. I love the color on the car, and the black wheels. Its amazing. Also, did you have the engine out when it was painted? I noticed the engine compartment is red as well. It does look damn good though .

PS - Im liking the background with the jets too, how suiting...Fast stuff .
EDIT: Damn, I just noticed that even the area around the hatch (drain areas) looks great. That paint job must have cost a pretty penny...

Can you imagine the TRAUMA involved with drilling holes in the body of a brand new car you only had a week I remember it as if it were yesterday!

As it states on my website, I took out the lower forward screw from each of the triangular mouldings inside the rear windows and used the longer but similar threaded screws that came with the plastic ***** for mounting the nets and screwed them in there. That way I can take 'em out and put the stock screws in to reverse the mod in the future without leaving a blemish. You'll also notice that my net is folded double, with all 4 corners going to the upper left and right and the middle of the net pinned under the metal trim bar running across the carpet. This provides a handy document pocket, though installing the net with equal tension throughout took a bit more effort.
When I first installed the net I attached them to the inside of the seatbelt anchors (as it appears Zookeeper did) but in my car it held the net vertical (looked aftermarket) and kept the belts from retracting properly, so they were always flopping around like the retractors were busted. By installing the ***** back by the rear window bases, I regained fully functional seatbelts and raked the net back at an angle mimicing the storage bins, so it looks like the car was meant to have the net there. Most people don't even know it's a mod, they just think the car was ahead of its time

That way it doesn't interfere with the belt at all and I can take it off without having to remove the swival bolt. If you pop the cap, you'll see there's plenty of room. But ur rite, they're for sure vertical. I like ur "document holder" idea - never thought of that. Be good for holding fragile items, too. Hmmm...

I don't recommend you use it for 3-d items for very long - the net stretches, and can take hours to pop back into shape if you leave the item in there for a day or so.
