Not sure if I will do the track though, I wish I could!

What if my helmet is not snell 2000?

 

K, I might be a bit lost on things. First of all what exactly is a PDX? At first it sounds like an auto cross, but reading through out the rules and what not, seems more like a high speed thing?

Also if we pay the 30$, does that get us to drive on the road course, or is that what the PDX is? If we get any last minute guests can they not come in? If I come down, I'm not sure if any of my sibblings in Georga would want to come and watch till pretty much I get down there and figure things out, so just want a heads up on things.

 

The SCCA sets the rules and they require 2000.


The $30 is for zoom-fest. The PDX is $100 through the SCCA site. The PDX is run on the track not like the autoX in the parking lot.

Registration will close 3 weeks before the event in order to get everything accounted for and shirts printed. For people registered by the cut off, If you end up with guest later we will work with you. They may not get a shirt depending on what we have left.

They sometimes have loaner helmets, if not im sure someone will let you borrow theirs. You can use mine if we aren't on the track at the same time.

Yeah im gonna be in the FD for the PDX. Working on getting the rest of the parts on the car right now and hopefully will be done by then. If not ill just go as it sits now.

I can bring my helmet and if it fits, you can use it. I won't be doing the PDX but rather taking pics of the RX's on the track.

You can try to sign up there if they still have room. Online registration for the PDX closed yesterday.
