I finally plugged in the unit tonight to find out that its not getting power, the power light doesn't illuminate nor does the hand-held-programmer work.

the 2nd computer in the car does function (the odometer CPU) so i'm sure that the current is flowing to the ecu (though i haven't tested it any further than this BUT the harness is brand new).

I've opened the ecu, replaced the tiny 3a fuse, still - nothing!
I've checked fuses under the dash, main harness fuse box ,etc.

Have I over looked something? tech manual doesn't explain how to bench test the unit - anyone know?

 

is this a plug and play unit or a wire in?

 

yeah its plug&play for the FD;

 

do you have a scematic for the plug and play setup? are you sure you have power where the wolf's suppoto be getting power? grounds good?

 

yes - this was verified by plugging in the stock ECU;

i've ordered another wolf unit, this one will be sent back for repair.
