Wof3d

I'm thinking of picking up a Wolf3D V4.
Who are the FC S3 S5 support ? If you guys were to start all over again, would you buy a Wolf3d again?
I see a LOT of Haltech support.

I have a Wolf3D v3.

Yes, if I had extra money, I would buy the version 4, for sure. But my car runs fine, so I use my cash somewhere else.

There is a Wolf users Yahoo Group

I need another EMS for my 20B, and yes, the Wolf3DV4 Plus is the main contender right now. I have owned a V3 and a V4, and have always been impressed with these units.

If there is no Wolf support in your area, and there is a lot of Haltech support, then I suggest getting a Haltech E11 instead. The E11 has similar features to the Wolf, and it's not worth the trouble to get an EMS that has no local support unless you are a tuning guru, in which case you would not be posting such a question on this forum.

LOL, I have two friends in the same situation. The V4 runs much more smooth (believe it or not), and has better temperature compensation, but then it all goes back to "if it's not broke, don't fix it". It's amazing that the old V3 still works better than some of the EMS products currently on the market.

Well tuning and comprehension shouldn't be a problem.
The things is, this stupid island I live on (Hawaii) does NOT nor have even heard of a Wolf3D EMS or maybe even a Haltech. Yes, it's sad I know. If I do get the Wolf3D, I'm on my own. I don't want to deal with any so-called speed shops here that do nothing but break your cars and have God complex. Thanks for the input.

There is this guy in Hawaii named Ted Koseki. He seems to know a thing or two, about Haltech's anyway

I'm sure, in a pinch, he could tune your Wolf as well. Tuning is more or less the same procedure, once you have the EMS interface down.

Dave doesn't like me, and he's doing super secret tuning anyways.
