Windows Vista and V4.72

Is anyone here having a problem with Windows Vista and the Wolf V4?? The problem I have is that it will not connect to the ECU and when it does, it stops responding, either while downloading the map or while you are working with it.

Is there any way of getting past this issue?? I have contacted Wolf agents in Aus and they arent much help, seems l;ike they are to busy focussing on V500.

for Windows 2003 - I had to apply a "Legacy Hardware" patch to the o/s for serial/lpt/com use.

...but again, i doubt this is your problem.

well my problem was i couldn't use any serial device connected to the machine - no matter the bios and/or os config.

imo... vista isn't worth a dime; i dont plan on writing code for vista until my job depends on it ;x
