Talking New Software !!

Yes it is here!!!!
I have spent the last 2 days on the phone 4-5 hours with
AU discussing the software and how we can improve small
things I have found. All of you are in for a real treat in tuning.
I actually got to the point where I was laughing at my own
impatience with waiting. Good things do come to those who wait.
I am very proud and exicited to be apart of a company that does
this much to help the its customer base.
ANY input from all of you after the release is welcome and very much
appreciated. Please give your input! The software designer is now
a full time employee at Wolf in AU and somtimes changes could be
made in the matter of a few hours.

Thank you all for your patiance.

The program is being tested by dealers at this time and will be released when it works the way it should. Much work has been done here in Australia with dealers working on finding bugs. I have been told that the 3D mapping stills needs more work too. In all fairness they are getting it done but I don't think it has a Autotuner option

Cheers

Like I told Chris, once you have accurate wideband datalogging ... autotune is a SIMPLE piece of logic to add to the software. The Wolf has plenty of CPU power to handle it too.

The Wolf certainly doesn't show excess speed in sending requested data this is one of its down sides. Also the accuracy of O2 voltage sent to the laptop could be dropped to 0.002 volts instead of 0.02 Volts this would make for more accurate logging near the 13 -11 AFr region where it is needed.

Thanks for the photo it looks good. The graph looks like one I tried to do and it didn't really work becasue it was too small. From what I have been told it would be good if the 3D map could be full screen with Zoom. The solid black background is a little much too, but I will get used to it quick enough.

I cant wait to have a go at it.

This would be a good time to ditch my narrow band O2 sensor and get a wideband?

Any suggestions?

Innovate

Getbent, RLC put an Inovate into my setup (which replaced the Tech Edge he put in a few year's earlier) and it has proven to be the best bang for the buck.

The reason the Auto tuner uses voltage is so you can use a Inovate or Tech edge set it up for 0 Volts= 20 Afr and 5 volts =10 Afr setup into the Wolf wideband input. Then the 0.02 volt resolution would be much more accurate and the auto tuner can do a better job. I will endevour to make a calibration map making program to suit programable widebands in time.

Wait a sec i've missed something. I'm basically after a replacement O2 sensor for my narrow band one, so when the new Wolf software is released i'll be able to see AFR's other that 14.7:1. The new wolf software pic that was posted had AFR and Oxy-Volts. I'm really just interested in how rich it's running on long cruises, as high end tuning is done at me Wolf supplier (although it would be nice to know more about what's going on). I'm basically trying to avoid spending $300+ on a wideband controller

Bugs arn't always errors. Feedback from dealers is very important as they use it more than any of us. I think most of the big issues have been sorted but even a little problem can mean a total rewrite of sections of code and it can take weeks to address. I think there are issues with the graphing and background for some guys.
But guys it must be real close now.

Cheers
