Intreast in an Innovate Motorsports Logworks plugin for wolf?

Anyone else use an lm1 or lc1 etc etc.

i have an lm1 and lma-3 and would like to beable to log air temp, coolent temp, duty cycle, ignition etc etc over a true wideband afr + what im logging with my lma-3 (which will eventualy be 3 egt channels total and exhaust manifold pressure), logworks sdk would allow me to write a plugin for this

just curious if i was the only one that woudl benifit from this, or its worth doing to help a few other people, probably wouldnt be done till spring, being winter is slow for me, so a few random projects would help me out so i dont just play counterstrike all winter

Ive downloaded the SDK and its opposite of how they explain it on the website. It says online that you can use 3rd party stuff and log along with the MTS package, but in the manual it only explains how to write your own software and gives some examples on how to use the SDK to dump MTS log stuff into your software.

its still in beta however, so things may change

Some of us have been discussing adding a special command to the Wolf Software so it looks for a custom .dll for AFR say a function library afr.dll Now all you do is choose the correct dll written for your wideband. So your shortcut would be wolfems.exe -passwd -externalafr1 and this would enable the external AFR on port1

Sorry if I have gone over the top but it was a idea for some time later

what do you mean? so that the wolf could log afr from another port? that would be cool.

the only reason i wanted to go the other way was because innovate's logworks is so powerful and has so many functions

It was a idea that has been bounced around outside the list.. now this may never happen it would be a large project making the dll's for each wideband and some how modifiying the Wolf software to support this mod. The Mod to the software would be the easy bit writing the dlls( I can't write dlls .. I have tried and I never succeded I have written Active X controls before) would take me ages and it wouldn't be easy. I have just started working with a new programming tool and on top have it running on Vista. If I have the same program and make it on XP it runs great on XP but on Vista it crash and burns. Then you build the same program on Vista and it works great on Vista and crash and burn on XP go figure just lucky I have both!! Anyway it would take some work.
Cheers
