Last year I posted a similar thread but later found out it was for a car that was sold earlier that year. So this is the official one. So if you got one that I can buy (or rent) and pick up please message me! (I live near LA)
I do have some concerns though, the car has a rough idle so I may have trouble passing IF I can pass, that is... I'm also going to Texas for Basic Training for the Air Force and then be stationed in Colorado very soon after the smog check. The thing is DMV wants me smogged by September 8th. I'll be leaving on August 9th so I obviously won't have any time. The question is if I fail to smog check my car and bring the car to Colorado will there be any consequences Insurance wise? Any other consequences?

Will someone be able to hook me up so that I won't have to go through the trouble of passing? Because I doubt my engine is in the shape to be able to do so, and I am quite pressed for time now.

DJDINO has no hookups to smog. Word around the street is that Goofyrotor has all the hookups. In the mean time, you could all stare at my sig which is a pic of my precious Angel.

 

Just take the car to Texas with you and register it there. California smog check is useless in Texas. Plus once you have registered it in Texas you can give a dirty Sanchez to Cal smog!!!

 

I'll try asking goofyrotor. And about Texas, I doubt that's gonna happen because I'm not staying in Texas for very long. It's only for boot camp. So that's 6 weeks + some days and that's that.
