I had the day off AND getting paid for it. hehe

 

Was at fry's this morning, they had a good handful of copies and 1 collector's edition... didn't buy it though.

 

I slept in today until noon. First time in ages.

 

Gosh, SO jealous.

I'm going to hold off getting that game until Christmas break otherwise it will severely cut into my productivity.

sorry, i should of been more specific. bestbuy. i went to at least 3 of them, but no luck. i did went to frys and they had a bunch of them on shelves. the thing is, i have bestbuy credit card. it really hurts me now to buy games... i think there not worth the $60 too much! I can spend better things on something else. that's just me though.

 

I got the collectors Edition, my wife bought it for my birthday back in Sept.

But I was kinda disappointed, a lot of the cars we drive, second Gen, Third Gen, and Miata, didn't have any interior, seems like only "HIGH END" cars get that treatment, and ours aren't desirable enough anymore to warrant that kind of action. Which is kind of sad, to me because some of the "Lure" of GT for me is to imagine driving my car on the Ring, or whatnot... and having my interior on there would help that illusion.

Other than that GT5 looks ok while driving, and really starts earning its money in the replays, but other than that while racing to me it looks like GT4, because I'm always trying to get to the front of the pack in the first lap, and after that you don't see any of the other cars, and for that matter they might as well be cardboard boxes with C5, Supra etc... stamped on them. So I had a lot more fun with NFS Hot Pursuit, but I'm not giving up on GT5 either... just yet....

P.S. Oh and as far as the collectors edition goes, lol, it's a keychain, which is okay but would get scratched the first time in your pocket, with keys on it. And a little model car, (New Skyline), and a book telling you about engines, and cars, and what a racing line is and how to take different turns. Oh and it has a list of the insane number of cars in the game. I'd rather have less Yaris's and their off-spins in racing paint, with a 110 hp engine instead of 85 hp, and have more interiors for ACTUAL sports cars like Rx-7's Supra's etc... cars that the enthusiast still cares about...
