Hi guys. The corvette guys want to put another Big Willow track day on. About a month away... Wednesday 10/09/2013. I know it's tough to get out on a weekday. LMK if you're interested. I've done a couple events with these guys, always a blast. All the track time you could ask for and practically ZERO traffic. Would also be a great place to test/tune/sort out your car if you're so inclined. You can search my posts on norotors.com in my build thread for pics & vids from previous ones.

Hello everybody,
I have confirmed the Big Track at willow springs for the 9th of October.
The price per car is $225.00, yup, a little cheaper than first advertised.

as always this is a first paid first reserved event as space is limited to 25 cars. based on positive response we have plenty of room, but if you really want to go, do not delay in your payment.

here are some more details about the track...

convertibles are allowed as long as they have a factory installed roll
bar or pop-ups and factory seat belts in working condition. after
market roll protection must be accompanied by a 5-point harness.

NO passengers. this is a very fast track and the insurance does not
allow for ride alongs. With that said, there may be passengers giving or receiving instruction. This must be coordinated with me and the starter.

fuel center will be available

paddock diner will be available

fire/rescue will be onsite (9am to 5pm)

we will have a starter and 3 corner workers.

Hehe it always is!!!! I've done a few events with these guys, they really put on a good show! Hardly any traffic, drive as fast or as slow as you want. It's great man. Fun crew to hang out with too, lots of different cars show up.

No official timing homie. Guess that will mean plenty of jerking off on the track However, if you have a video camera you can figure out your laptimes. I'm sure "there's an app for that" too

One week away guys. We are set as far as attendance goes, but we can still take a car or two.

 

Weather was pretty horrible on the drive up. Rained the whole way pretty much. Windy as heck too. I took a few pics with my phone and some video. I'm working on the video right now, I hope it turns out! Glad we got the GTO guys out. Sorry about the weather guys. Mother nature is unpredictable! The pics are huge, I didn't bother to resize them... sorry!
