For those who’ve never been and think this is just “hype” - puuleeeze. Nobody has to hype Sevenstock. I don’t know the exact number, but last year there were over four thousand people. Can you say OVER six hundred rotary powered cars in one place? Aside from the six hundred physically in Mazda R&D, People were parking blocks away and walking in. This party is so big, the NASA satellites pick it up WITHOUT A TELESCOPE.
What can you expect to see? Everything. 20b's are common. Pick a Mazda platform, and there’s at least one example of a 20b powering it. I’ve seen a 20b-powered Mazda flat bed pick up truck (THAT WAS DRIVEN DOWN FROM IDAHO), 13b powered 911's, Cosmos (new AND old), 13b powered VW bus, etc. Looking for a 12a based FOUR ROTOR? They’ve got ‘em for sale. Seen a "picture" of the LeMans winning Mazda? Lots of us have not just seen the car, but heard it. Yes, Mazda shipped it from Japan and fired it up for the crowd. Last year two rotary powered Lolas that finished first and third in their class at Le Mans were driven in front of the stage and parked there. The other race cars were fired up, and they were so loud they drowned out the jets that were on approach to John Wayne Airport, which is less than two miles away.
Interested in tech seminars? Rob Golden of Pineapple Racing has given rotary rebuilding seminars. Ari Yallon of RX7.COM has been there explaining the science of drag racing. Interested in club racing? Jim Hagerty of Mariah Motorsports has given tech seminars. AND THERE ARE MANY OTHERS.
Don’t care about tech, you just want access to parts? Vendors, and I mean the BIGGIES in the rotary world, are ALWAYS THERE. They’re there with products, free catalogs, and advice for anyone who’ll listen. Only interested in advice from "factory professionals"? I’ve heard talks from an 80+-year-old engineer who started with Mazda in 1946. A guy who was on the research and design team in 1961, on the original 1963 rotary development team, part of the 17 Samurai engineering team - this ain’t the corner drunk giving out bad advice. This guy has seen it all. Are you interested in future technology? You can hear about that directly from Mazda management. - And this is all given in an open forum.
Think vendors are biased? Don’t want to hear from racers because you’re a street guy? ONLY interested in hearing from REAL owners with REAL daily drivers? Street cars are there with hoods open and owners ready to answer questions.
How much is this going to cost ya? How about FREE? We all have budgetary constraints, but FREE is usually doable!
"What’s it like?" Man, where have YOU been. Get your butt down to Sevenstock and find out what life in the rotary world is all about.
In relation to your other question, NO ALCOHOL ON THE PREMISES. If you feel a need for some crunk juice, go to the local Hilton where the before and after parties will be held. And for you guys who insist on doing burnouts all weekend long, So Cal Rx has done exhaustive research and determined that no matter how big your burnout, college girls are not going to drop their tops and ravage you with their naked breasts. Wacky keeps them all on a short leash.
This has been an unofficial So Cal Rx-Club Service Announcememt.

We plan to. We'll have one or two sevens. If some friends join us we'll be taking two but if its just me and Taka87 I think we'll save some money
and take one of them.
And yesterday I just took out my rear seats and installed bins so thats half a person less that can't ride with us
