Last year there were people with bright orange vests directing parking. I fear the best you could do is if everyone stays together, then you could park next to each other.

 

well I have been to almost every professional drifting event since 2003, so more than likely I will be there as well, I have never brought my seven but this time I think I will, i coming from san bernardino area though

 

I may go if I can gather some cash.

I really hope you guys have decent car alarms or dont bring your rx7s at all. With the popularity that drifting has gotten, alot of bad comes with the good. Though they try their best, security can't cover the whole parking lot, alot of theiving and **** goes on. And you are pretty much sol if you cant get into the parking area. The last event I went to, a few cars got keyed bad and a few got broken into, very dissapointing. Even though it is way newer than my other cars, I bring my truck to the events becuase its not a major target compared to an rx7/s13/s14

 

I parked my N/A there last year, has an expensive sound system too. Maybe I got really lucky. But I only have the TII and the Cobra here. Now im scurd...
I defenetly don't want to get keyed. Doh, and my sisters taking her EVO. We need someone to keep an eye out.

I'm probably going on the 17th. I won't be taking my FD though. At the last D1 event, my friends and I got to sit on the track with the drivers and cars and watched the races from there.

 

couldn't see **** from the pit area though.

the spectators got to see more than the crews did. that's just wrong.

 

Yeah I never drive the car to the D1. or any D1 Event.. We always rode in Van and SUVs.. although I'm thinking of taking the car out this year...
