There used to be a strong bond back in the day with fellow rotary owners....not too sure about now.

 

That bond still exists. How much is a new banner Guys? I'm willing to donate a few bucks towards the effort and I'm sure that many others who are sickened by this act would do so as well.

 

Tim, thanks!!! But again it's NOT the banner or it's cost... it's the principal of the whole deal.. we can make new banners, it's just that we want whoever took it to do the right thing and return it!

And it's the fact that you don't want to be associated with people like that. It's not the small, diehard community that it used to be. It's full of kids that bought a rotary after watching some stupid movie or cartoon. I'm just glad that my car's too beat up looking for anyone to want to mess with it. Heck, she's so beat up, I probably wouldn't even know if she was messed with.

I don't know the whole things sucks from the banner getting stolen to the oil caps getting stolen and then someone's damn shift ****. I would have loved to have popped my hood for everyone to see but damn I wouldn't want to stay around the car the whole time. It just plan sucks ***. I hope these cat's do the right thing and return the banners.

 

Pshaw hit the nail on the head. The die hard rotary community is still here and we all still watch each other's backs. But it's all these new idiot kids that bought an FC or FD after watching "The Gay and the Curious" or Inital D. They are screwing things up for the rest of us. Hopefully they figure out that it's not cool to act like that before those of us who do sacrifice our time/effort/money to host events stop doing it. I know that we lucked out at RotaryFest this year and nothing bad happened, but it was our first year and we only had 120 cars there.

Whoever stole the banner needs to man up and return what doesn't belong to you. I hope that you'll see how stupid you really are and decide to do what's right.
