depends on the generation of the person, i had a 240 from 01 - 06, and when i was building that car up *started in 02 when i was actually driving it out of highschool* i only insisted on expensive quality parts, i dont know how i could afford the hks type s fmic, sr20 black top, nismo2way lsd, tein coilvers, greddy profec b spec II, hks bov, just to name a few new parts i had bought for that, and fn01s.... but I took my time to save up for those parts.

At the time, i was inspired by all the japanese tuners.... sold my car in 06. All the drift bandwagon 20 year olds would diss me because i didnt have any drift pictures when they stepped into the 240 game. **** them.
All the young 20s kids will probably not take the time nor appreciation to build a quality car, and their buddies will all have 240s and flood of cheap knock off parts.

I think if you been around before the drift craze, you will be more into the quality and parts instead of the cheap flash and looks.
240sx owners from 2005 and up are probably going to be cheapskates... 240sx owners from before 04 will be the baller guys who put quality into their work.

FC people i can not say, i really dont know many fc owners personally, just DK. Ive yet to locally see a nice condition modded fc.

Cars is a passion for me, i cant justify buying some cheap parts, theres no long term enjoyment out of owning some bullshit parts..

If i cant afford it, ill just wait... save up, or not even bother.

When i see a pic of ePH C freak's car, its exciting, gives you something to look up to. Then when some guy posts up a pic of his rx7 with Rota wheels and stock body, its like ehhh whatever.

thoughts agreed. of the fc's i've seen lately i havnt come across one with nice paint or that "clean" look. i had a good one tho back in the day...haha.

240 guys are getting pretty cheap lately... all i see from them are angled mufflers on stock pipes... and even some of the sr20 swap guys are running gross bodies on stock rims.

the fc guys(i was one in 05) arnt really that cheap.. they're just poor in comparison. lol. mostly good parts or no parts kind of people.

and since the "drift craze" ppl dont make their cars shiny anymore cause it has a high % of getting chipped up anyway imo. although im one of those young 20's(21) i like to keep all my stuff clean... which is why im poor

If I were cheap with my FC, I would still have money.

I sold one of them recently, but I still have another, PLUS a Jeep.

Just Empty Every Pocket.

If I'm not mistaken.... there might be a purple fc in the next fast and the furious. Maybe a extra/background car though.
