what to do in los angeles/irvine in october?
... besides of course sevenstock? because that's my excuse for going down. i'll have a car (renting a convertible, i'm so cool)
i'm taking the lady and we're making a touristy sort of time of it. so... i'd appreciate recommendations for some fun touristy kind of stuff to do on a sunday during the day...

Drive along PCH (Pacific Coast Hwy) along the coast. Start early to avoid traffic. Newport Beach is nice....
The Montage Hotel (in Laguna Beach) is a kick *** hotel to have drinks/lunch but is crazy expensive. Nice paths to walk along the beach though.
