Wastegate mapping

I've got an fc with a haltech ps 1000. Car runs pretty good but the wastegate maps are a bit off. I get some annoying lag that I'd really like to tune out.

Is there anyone around the SF bayarea that knows about wastgate mapping / tuning? I've learned a bit about what to do but it would be nice to get some expert advice.

Some people like to run the solenoids closed until you get close to your boost target. Closed for too long and you will trend to overshoot. Trial and error.
