use or not to use that is the question??????
im rebuilding my 87 turbo II and i dont want it to blow if i should buy a new rotor housing. should i buy 1 or will this be ok?? help me out.

Tough call; new would be better, but obviously $$.
It doesn't look from the picture like it's gotten into the water-jacket seal surface, though it's close. If there's no inner thinning in the direction toward the rotor chamber, you could probably grind the corrosion out carefully and JBWeld it... It's strictly in the waterjacket to tension bolt barrier as far as can be seen by the picture, and so doesn't carry much pressure.
Any place the water seal touches has to be absolutely flat, though. Otherwise you're inviting a water leak.
