heres a couple of pics from the weekend of the US sports car invitational on may 6-7, 2006.

satruday was the grand am series which had a bunch of rx8's. its just too bad none of them placed.

 

sundays event was for the road and track race which had the rolex gt and dp combined. the rx8 did not place as well here.

 

the prototype cars were pretty cool to watch as they were lapping all the GT cars.

 

Thanks for posting up those pix Scratch. Looks like it was a great time this past weekend. Is there something like it coming again any time soon?

no prob guys, i just wish i had a better camera. i was using my girls powershot s400. the next big events worth seeing at laguna is the red bull us grand prix (motogp) 7/21-7/23 and the montery sports car championship (american le mans) 10/20-10/22.
