Well I know Rotorfest is usually held around this month or so.
So what do you guys feel about Rotorfest 2008 1 to 2 months from now?

Nader and I are working on it right now, and hope to have a date and location posted up this week.

The idea is a location where we can do more than just sit in a parking lot, but also a driving event.

Well Nader and I both have been wanting to do the Vines to the Pacific cruise as part of this years RotorFest, and last year I tried to do a timed event, but ran into legal issues about it... but I think I have found a solution for this years event.

So there will be things to do, besides just a BBQ and a guys talking in a parking lot.

There is this Timed event that I am going to lay out a course for as soon as I get approval from the city.

a real "rally". Much like the Empire Sports Car Assn holds from time to time...

Mark, should we tell these guys? I know a few of the higher up members are rotorheads...

www.empiresportscar.org

I've been a member for about 5 years but i haven't auto-x'ed in a while.

Come to think of it, I may be able to get a special group deal for RX7club members if they wanna autocross one of these months...

Look! here's the old TII at an auto-x back in 05

OK guys. UPDATE:

We have the location, now we just need to decide on what the date is going to be.

Shall we say July 20th or July 27th?

I'm leaning more towards the 20th myself. Can I have a show of hands?

Let's get this going so I can sticky the thread once everything is set.
