Turn off your damn A/C's...

My power was out for over 3 hours tonight. Is it that hard to open a window?

FYI Mythbusters tested gas mileage of AC vs. windows rolled down.

Their expensive Ford laptop with tricky algorithms said that AC should get 1.0-2.0 better MPG.

When they ran 2 Ford Expeditions around the circle track, each with same amount of gas in the tank, the AC truck ran outta gas much earlier. Myth Busted!

Guess it takes a lotta energy to spin the AC compressor and blower fan.

FordMOCO said the opposite would happen. As does word on the street. Everyone there doing the test was very suprised. And they didn't fill up the tanks; 5 gallons each.
