I am new to the rx-7 but always wanted one. I just bought my dream car yesterday. Drove it from Phoenix and was getting gas by my house when it started to smoke. Then the power was gone and it started to smoke real bad. it also made a weird winding noise. Made it home with the cops right behind me. That is how bad it was smoking. I have oil pressure but the light did come on half way back to the house. Does anyone know what is going on. I think it's the turbo but I don't know. Anyone know of a good shop in Tucson for me to take it to? Thanks for any good suggestions.

Does sound like the turbo. Dont know of any shops I would take it to but you might try azrx7.com. There are a lot of tucson guys on there.
