Tranny rebuilds in Nor Cal?

So Ive had my 7 for about a month and a half. Ive never posted in the West forum before so im just saying, Hi! I have an 82 GSL and its an automatic but i bought a whole parts car and pulled the tranny out of that for a 5 speed swap. Now the car had 194000 miles on it and i never got to drive it so i just think its safe to rebuild the tranny. Anyone know of any GOOD and CHEAP places to go. I want a good job done but i cant break the bank. Now Im looking to get into the automotive field so I'd love to learn how to rebuild the tranny I just need some help and guidance if I cant find a decent price for someone else to rebuild it. Thanks in advance.

You can also try John Pagel @ Evil Genius in West Sacramento: evilgeniusracing.com He may be kinda busy till after the racing season ends but he can throw some Miata gears into your tranny for you! He's doing an engine/trans swap for me now. Call him for prices.

^^I have above and beyond all of the above and will only do it for $300 plus guaranteed labor. Or I can just let you borrow my press for free, but I see you are in the northern cali, so that may be an issue. hehe. But if you are ever in the south, I can hook you up.
