So anyways, I live in Irvine. PM me for info if you want to go on a good canyon run. There are a few people in the area that go there. The good thing is that its an actual canyon without any houses or driveways and the road is nice and wide, so if you do push your car more than you can handle, it's a lesson learned and not a wipe out.

 

i use the term JDM and i'm no where close to being a ricer, cuz damn, i want a jdm/99spec front bumper. Ricers don't know what the term jdm means.

If you think it's ok to drive like an idiot because you can't afford track time, tough. Just as it's NOT ok for me to steal someone's Ferrari because I can't afford one, it's NOT ok to use the canyons to drive like an idiot because you can't afford track time. Those canyons have motorcyclists and families driving on them. I'm sure as hell sick of reading threads on different boards about someone dying in the canyons. If driving is as important as some people say it is to them, they sure as hell should be saving the $$$ for track time instead of the latest gizmo for their cars.

well, i only do that if i really have a need for speed and adrenaline..i never have any passenger's with me if i decide to do it. even tho my friends egg me on about me taking them to the canyons we have here..im just not reckless like that and i have the consideration for the other person..what happens when i **** up on a turn and end up slideing into a wall? i dont want the guilt of me killing another person let alone one of my friends on my mind..the "gizmos" that i buy to make the car perform better only give me a reason to try them out at the canyon..and im sure thats more then enough to make that run. for me and anyone else im sure. yeah, i run the canyon's every now and again but that doesent mean im going to try something that i've never tryed before when running them, i only do what i know, i remember when i first bought my second gen i was mad wreckless with it and used to run the canyons all the time in the rain at night and it dident faze me thinking about what might have happened, i think about that today and thank god i dident **** up and fly off the edge....but the bottom line is..if your going to run the canyon's be ready for the consequences that come with the territory if you mess up..i know i do..
