As im in the middle of preparing my car for the track, i get slapped with the usual, smog check !!!... just came at a bad time thats all...

Anyhow, i was wondering if anyone knew someone that could "help" with my smog? it needs to be a "test only" center... and i need it ASAP!!!

thanks guys... btw, what makes the government decide u need a test only center, and not just a reg. smog test? its like they know u got a swap in there....

 

i think it depends on the age of the car and whether its known to be a gross poluter. I'll ask around but to let you know my car passed smog without a hitch without "help". i know that fortyfive might know someone.

i have an RX-7 from out of state delivered and needed to smog it as well. I took it to a check only station only to find out that there are no cats on the car! The previously owner lied and said there was a hi-flow. Anyways, I'm going to get a cat put on, but the car has no airpump, so I still can't pass...

 

anythings possible but it'll likely fail any visual inspection.
