Thunderhill on 120k orginal motor?
hey guys
my friends got an extra spot for HPDE this coming weekend at Thunderhill. I was thinkin bout taking the FD but it has 120k and its on the orginal motor. Im thinking its not gonna survive the track day. What does everyone think?

Depends on your level of mods, boost, and more important, COOLING. It is going to be close to 100 up here this weekend, more at the track. If you don't have a boost controller, boost gauge and reliable temp. gauge I wouldn't do it.
I thought there were only motorcycle events this weekend?

Done Do It!...OK, DO IT...NO WAIT, 120k miles? DON'T DO IT
That pineapple is already ready to pop. If you're bone stock(IC, radiator, etc) good chance it'll blow. Supposedly stock FDs don't take well to track events due to overheating, although mine was stock when I took it to TH...but on a hot summer day, you better be Irish cuz you'll need the luck.
