ok, i am not really a noob, but when i came across the picture, i noticed that there was an fc in the pic, however the engine was something other than common. i am not sure if this is common in your area, but the popular thing i see is the typical ls v8 swaps. Now i have found a sr powered FC, talk about clash of the titans, i have both the cars, i have a white s13 coupe and now my blue GXL wrapped in a turbo ii shell.


i am curious to see how the community reacts to this

oh, btw, these are not my cars, if ppl ask about why i said i have a white coupe and blue fc. ( for the less intelligent....lol) i got this pic on zilvia.net. i was like wtf mate! decided to share it with the guys of rx7 club. i wonder where this is, why he/she did it? and when will we see it race???

 

The reason would probably be because they're switching out for a engine with about the same power potential, same weight, but way more reliable?

Motors are only as reliable as the owner makes it to be. I've seen SR20s and KA-Ts blow so many times it makes a rotary look reliable.

 

What's wrong with my FC? You guys don't like it? I busted my T2 engine and I got that motor dirt cheap... so there!

i would personally would never Swap out a Rotary for an SR.

it defeats the purpose of an Rx-7........

Maybe you should swap yore 13B into the S13 and SR/KA to the FC.

 

What we have here is a DIRECT violation code in teh "Wankel 13b" book of Rotary.

Here's my .02

My car is a S5 base T2 conversion. Fully rebuilt and still adding **** to it to make it "reliable" I'm about 8 GRAND INTO IT!!!! and its nowhere near done!

I could've easily said UFCK IT ans bought and SR 240 or 1J'd it like by buddy but I have mad love for the rotary. For 8K I'm sure I'd have a sick 240 or a Miata or something but I love my FC. This guy gets mad props for his work thus far
