Sunday Cruise 8-21

Just wondering if there is anyone down for another Early Sunday drive. Just wanted to judge the reaction. I haven't found a route yet and I am open to sugestions. Sand canyon was thrown out there but not sure where it is. So let me know if your down. If you got you stuff running for the BBQ this is a good time to get out and drive the rotors around. I was thinking meeting up somewhere on the OC LA country border. Nothing is set yet so post any sugestions. I was thinking of twistys/canyons type roads

Angel Crest would be nice, but to croweded in the weekends. Last time I went on a weekend last guy got pulled over, which happend the be the slowest.. ticketed 5mph over the limit.

Ryan (1984SE) seems to knows those roads pretty nice, so it would be nice if he led the way again.. althouh would be nice to do it very earlier before the bikers come out to play.

ok ryan you've gotten the vote, now you got to come up with something good around 100 miles. Everyone who wants to go PM me to get on "the list" . All details are to be given out to only those who PM. This is going to be a "low key" thread so as not to tip off the "unwelcome"

angeles crest is cool but too crowded...the first suggestion was good (sand canyon) and there is a very chill spot at the top with a fire pit for bbq if you wanted to...plus if its held there i would go as well as 5 or 6 other rx owners. pm for directions

ok as it stands on the PM list as follows. geargraber,edbltx7,rxgirl7,trainwreck,1984se,fctur bo2,AZNphoenix. If your name is listed you will get all info on time/address in a pm to keep it unlisted to the masses!!!! This will be a "spirited" drive. If you want "in " pm either me or 1984se.

I dought it I got a Fc......mostly stock.....crappie driver too hehehehehe. This isn't the type of drive where we leave anyone hanging, just be prepared for a faster than normal drive. That is why it is "hush hush". want to keep the "others"

I know!... i put 20 bucks in just now, only made half a tank! These very depressing times.

100 miles = 20 bucks... well for me anyways.

edit: but i love the way my car handles so much right now, i'd spend 40 bucks to cruise sunday

well 1984se is leading the way, so what would be a "good distance" for us to go, 60 miles? Less? More? Let me know what everyone is up for.

well we could be in europe.....6 bucks a gal there, BTW alchahol is up to 9 bucks a gal, I burn 4.5 gals between the burn out /1/4/ and shut down, so we blow 40 buck just in fuel, PER RUN. So it could be worse. All this from a TEXAS PRESIDENT WTF

.... And yes I am Mad....

Im lucky the cop was cool, he knew i had a rotary! So now i have to troll the boneyards for a decent stock exhuast (cat-back).

I have a month to inpection so im still down for the cruise. Socal, have you decided on a route yet?
