Montego.. You don't happen to live in Otay Ranch do you? Cuz I see a Montego Blue FD always parked w the windows open. If thats you.. You should close your windows.

Is tracking useful to us in San Diego. 2 of my beaters got jacked and ended up in San Ysidro (according to the SDPD) -- really close to MEXICO... Damn i bet it would be pretty hard getting your FD back from those Mexicants if it went past the border.

LOL I wonder if people in So.america know a whole lot about FDs.

I'm sorry to hear this. I do hope that you find your car and that it's still in the same condition that it was in prior to being stolen. Best of luck to you!

No I don't live in Otay Ranch. I never leave the windows open.

The system is useful even down here. I inquired and about Mexico and I was told that there is an agreement between Mex and the US (or CA) about how the US police can cross the border and recover the vehicle (if it has been tracked). Back in the day the were allowed once a week to do this. Maybe now the frequency of the recovery trips has increased.

The good thing about having such a rare car is that professional car thieves are generally not interested in them as there isn't high a high demand for parts. Unlike let's say a honda civic.
