it was prolly the previous owner, stealing these cars are pretty hard...it's easy to get past the window/door but the ignition is another story plus the factory anti-theft is decent

Just saw this.

What are the more subtle thing to look for. Scratch's, dents, hidden signature?

I'll definitley keep an eye out. Sucks big time.

quick release was the first thing i did on my car then a pro auto lock for the clutch/brake pedal... very good investments in antitheft other than a working stock alarm and aftermarket

ill keep an eye out as well in and around the bp area

I'll keep an eye out here in the valley and will spread the word. A 1th anni isnt just a car you can hide from the trained eye... hope its all intact when you get it back. Its definitely the worst feeling ever...

Driver's side glass isn't bronze, hatch is tinted

The front bumper is zip-tied on the bottom to the "grill" things

Factory exhaust, one hangs lower than the other

Lucky 7 Racing sticker on hatch

Sunroof does not have the seal around it

Black s4 tail-lights, they're not paint-matched like regular 10th AE's

Not many people have those SSR Reverse Meshes, so if you see them for sale somewhere, that should raise some questions.

They're 16x7 and 16x8 +40 ET
Tires are Sumitomo HTRz

Car has K-sport Kontrol Pro coilovers
Microtech LT8 w/ handcontroller mounted under radio

100% positive it wasn't the previous owner. The previous owner is Matt Mendoza, my bro's friend and a frequent helper @ lucky7.

They got into my car by breaking the door lock cylinder area. I don't see any broken glass, but found a piece of my door handle on the floor. My brother told me my alarm was going off around 2am. I went out and checked, no one around. So I just went back to sleep. Around 4am, my brother got a text message from my neighbor saying my alarm is going off again. UNFORTUNATELY, we were sound asleep.... I should have went out and checked the entire area before going back to sleep. That was my mistake.

But hopefully I get the car back in a decent shape.

Wheels had one lock on each of them. The rear driverside has a broken wheel stud. So there are only four lug nuts.

Right now, I'm going to have to buy another car before school starts. Hopefully, I get the car back before spring session and piece it back together.

sad thing about a quick release is if you buy a model that everyone has then anyone can use there own wheel or even worse just change/take off the hub and use there own... NRG has probably the best one cause you can buy a lock for it that way its safe from tampering and using another wheel.

i say best way to keep your car put is The UNBREAKABLE AutoLock PRO.. might cost a lot but well worth it i can say... they can still break in your car but they cant drive away with it... unless they do the unthinkabe and use a flat bed?!!?!? then your fucked no matter what!

true.. but what are the odds of common car thief having a bag of release wheels and hubs?
