I am organizing another Steve Kan tune day in So. Cal. The dates for the tune will be Saturday, Feb. 21st and Sunday, Feb. 22nd. Additional days can be added if necessary.

Steve Kan's Tuning prices

$350 - Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - aftermarket turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - aftermarket turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - aftermarket turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

Here is the estimated time frame allocated for each type of tuning.

1) stock turbo - 45 mins - 1.5 hrs
2) aftermarket turbo (pump gas) 1hr - 2.5 hrs
3) aftermarket turbo (race gas and/or auxiliary injection) 2 - 4hrs
4) aftermarket turbo (2 maps) 3-6 hrs

Dyno Rental Fees

1) +150 Stock Turbo up to 12psi
2) +200 Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi
3) +250 Race Gas up to 25psi
4) +300 Race Gas up to 25psi 2 maps

tuning will be done at J&G Automotive located in La Crescenta Ca. (North Glendale). More information at link below.

As far as I know, he can tune just about anything that is tunable.

You can always PM him to be certain.

He is on the forum under the user ID "Pluto"

 

I will be sending out the deposit information this weekend.

If anyone is interested, we still have room for 3 more.

 

I may have to pull out, I have family visiting that weekend. Will figure it out before a deposit is needed.

So is this thing happening on the weekend of the 21st or the 28th? Kan's calendar shows the 28th and the thread says the 21st. Make no difference to me, just want to make sure I plan for the right day.

 

Steve is checking flights, I should hear something back from him in the next day or 2

 

Okay guys, flight is booked. He will be here on the 21st and 22nd. Currently we have 3 for sure and a 4th maybe.

Steve can comfortably tune 8 cars over the 2 days. So get the word out. If you know anyone else who needs a tune direct him to this thread. Also, he can and will tune piston powered cars, so V8's, 240's anything like that is fine.

When do we start locking in time slots?

 

Spots are pretty much assigned as you see them. We will start tuning around 8AM, with 2 hour slots for each car. So you will be up around noon. Show up a little bit early in case we have to pull a car off the dyno.

Steve is getting in around midnight tonight, so we are going to start a little later. First tune will be around 10AM. The rest of the funds will be due at that time. We still have room if anyone else is interested, just bring cash.
