I havent posted because I was bump scheduled to be out of town for work and I have been doing all I can to get it off. It isnt looking very good right now, so i was waiting until i found out for sure.
hell yeah, i remember last time we did this..that brisket was awsome..thanks again jhammonds..by the way that avatar is wicked..well if it happens ill be there regardless..

I'll smoke three Big Briskets this year. Socal, you don't need to pay this time. I'll buy the briskets and bring the sauce. Somebody needs to be responsible (not Socal as he is already doing a lot).............Responsible for bringing some sort of beans then another brings Potato salad, Then another brings dinner rolls or Hamburger buns, then another brings plates, yet another brings Trash bags. You guys get it?
BUT!! I wanna drive my car. So we need EZ-up and Tables. Last year we all wanted some shade it was really hot. We need more tables as well. If we bring potluck then we need tables to set out all that food. Last year we had two EX-ups and one table.
I have all that stuff but like I said, I want to drive my car and not my Trooper.
AND!!!! AND we need to have a time that we are going to eat and everybody stick to it.
I came early and that was kinda when it should have gone down but most came early evening and nothing was left.
So:
1) Lunch 12:00 noon?
2) Late Lunch 3:30 ish?
3) Dinner 6:30 ish?
I can't stay all day so I wanna breeze in at meal time, eat like a pig, see every body, and then I'll have to leave.
Understand, I got four kids.....time is always a premium for me. Plus DW is an hour away.

Another thing!! we need to put our Screen name on the dash of our car. Most people know each other. But if you remember last year, we figured out that some just read the threads and don't post and then they showed up at the meet. Really cool people, just non posters. So just Print your SN horizontal on a sheet of paper and put it up there.
To make the food list work, we need to commit to what we are bringing. Add your name. I promise after #3 is filled in it will snowball and even my buddy Wacky will show up!!!!! It will be a reunion of the Grey Hares racing team.
