well i suppose it is about time we figure that out.
how about those of us that are here near san Berdo, meet up and leave pirate city tattoo parking lot at 5:30 then go some ware near Rancho Cucamonga so we can pick those guys up. (Rancho guys would have to be met up and ready to roll around 6:00)
This would put us in Irvine around 6:45 ~ 7:00 ????? correct me if i am wrong.
anyone find this to be a bad plan? i will also post this on the RX-8 forum.
P.S. the new engine is in the race car!!! it's not ready to fire up,. but it's getting damn close.
the engine, tranny, drive shaft, exhaust, and MOST of the engine externals are hooked up. only MAJOR thing left is to get the correct intake manifold. i have the wrong one. I'll let you all know when she fires up!

it's official....
FOR SEVEN STOCK 8:
for the San Bernardino area rotor heads, we will be leaving Pirate City Tattoo parking lot AT 5:30. so i would get there at 5:15 or so. if you need directions see the first post in this thread.
we will then drive to pick up the Fontana/Rancho guys we should be LEAVING THE AM/PM OFF 15 ON 4TH STREET ABOUT 6:00 so i would get there around 5:45 or so.
we will then be driving over to Irvine for seven stock.
If you need food, eat before you get there. If you need gas, i would get it the night before.
for those of you needing/wanting banners please get ahold of me and come get them soon, we have been and will be very busy with the race car, Jason's car, work, and side work. due to the busy schedual this week i think i will only be able to due single color banners as they dont take nearly as much time. looking forward to seeing all you rotor heads represent ROTORLUTION Racing. Scotty305 came and got his today, turned out pretty cool!

I don't think there will be quite a million cars there, but I don't think you'll ever find more RX-7's in one place.

i checked the hoses and they are fine.
i first noticed this problem because my add coolant light and warning buzz went off today. any clues????

I had the same problem a while back. James you should start the car (with the radiator full or water or coolant) and check to see if water is driping on to the intake manafold if it is trace it to the sorce. if it is the same as how mine was the it should be a loose that goes into the back of the dynamic chamber.

figgin a.....well, i spent the last 2 days getting my front mount intercooler installed.....and finally got it together at about 7 pm today...... then i went over to speeddemons dads house to help w/ the race car....this is where it gets interesting.....
well, short and sweet.......i hit a piece of rebar that was sticking out of the ground about a foot that his dad had cemented in the ground (to play horse shoes)and ripped my gp front nearly in half.....also to go was the radiators bottom tank getting a 5 inch hole ripped into it..... and my oil cooler being ripped off the car entirely (and leaking oil)....so, my car might not be at sevenstock...... but we will see.....

for those of you that dont already know..... I ran into a little trouble with the seven. we got the car put all together (days of hard hard work.) we went to fire her up for the first time. and when i pushed the starter button, i hear the starter spin like crazy, but it never engages the flywheel.
After being on the phone with Racing beat and Mazdatrix all day, we have come to the conclussion that the special Racing Beat clutch that i baught does me no good.
(for a little history, i baught a special racing beat clutch that allows me to run a N/A flywheel, and a TurboII tranny. they failed to mention that you have to change the bell housing to an old school bell housing.)
Long Long Long story short, we have to tear down the car again and replace the clutch, PP, and flywheel to all TII.
we will be doing this tomorrow. talk about last minute!
IF we get it all done, then we will be starting her up for the first time tomorrow evning. and loading her up on the trailer for seven stock.
just wanted to give you all an update.
