great turn out and very fun excluding everyones granite boulder incident ( me included) and very red. hopefully i can get some of my pictures up this weeekend.

It's a 87 I'm not too sure on the model, it's been so long I forgot which options came with what LOL it seems to be running pretty strong.

The previous owner took pretty good care of it, interiors alot better than my last one, s5 bumpers/moldings, s5 tails, tein springs on some tokico blues, front and rear strut bar(no name, probably some ebay ones) aluminum hood. Paint is not all that great, I'll try to get pics if I can find my camera.

how bout you? how is everything? I bet your super excited about the RX-7. its been a while snce you have had progress with that car. I know what its like to work on a car over and over and over... then take a big break, then the feeling of "ok the break was fun, but now its time to get this beast done AGAIN." its fun! your gonna love it! lets just hope she is good for you. I think she owes you.

The motor was installed and 90% complete last night.

I have just a few items to put on, then I will be able to start it. My brother in law is coming today to get the measurements for the cold air intake....I will post pics of the install later tonight. We did do a compression check last night, and it was 120psi+ on both rotors. Little high do to the assembly oil, Vaseline....but not to bad.

All parts have been cleaned and double checked for any trespassing materials!!!

My business(www.empirervparts.com) is breaking even, which I very thankful for that at this time. Kids are great, almost 2 yrs old.....lots of fun. I like the 1.5+yr old babies then the infant period. The seven will be good to me this time around. I have gone thru everything to make sure items are right and no corners cut. If I looked back at all that I have been thru in this motor....I would have been a little more patient and through. If the car is not right then don't drive it. I have learned to "listen" to her, and it has been good for me. the last time around was BS, and I didn't blow the motor because I was listening to her.

Tuning is fun for me, and I'm still learning. I will pay a professional to tune it, but I'm not to far off. The tunes have NOT been the reason for motors not lasting(1st corner seal thru motor, 2nd over boost 30psi+ when wast gate went bad, 3rd something wore done the apex seals to half their size due to no air filter ).

yeah you ahve not had the best of luck. its crazy! the sad part is you always pay the extra for quality products. its not like your car is full of ebay specials. thats what I find the most crazy!

Tuning is fun! I have started playing witht he tune on my miata. though I have not actually uploaded and run the new tune yet, its fun enough to play with it on the PC. I am curious to see how it acts in real life.

makes me want a dyno in my garage. :-)

I like playing with the fuel map the most. pretty nifty to see a 3D model of exactly whats going on with the base fuel map. also neat to play with the modiiers
