Hey Absence, I have some RX-7 chrome wheels I came across in my garage that came off of the convertible when I first got it that you might be interested in for your RX-7. They would look really good I think on your red car than the stock wheels you have now. I will try to post a picture of them tomorrow for you to take a look at.

Well you could use your stock wheels and put the super stickies on them and use these wheels for everyday. Dont worry about the money, if you want them we can take care of that later, I will make you a super deal .

However, I was looking for some on this website, from other people, so that I don't rip my friends off. Thats nice of you to make me a super deal, but I don't want to get them for anything under what you'd sell them for to someone else.


I doubt it. If so, I'll be taking a detour. Hopefully we won't have any last minute no-shows. Has everyone given Undisputed, or at least someone else in the caravan, their number? I'd hate to leave someone if they were 1 minute away from Arco, or if they got lost.

Casey - I took my catback off today. Remember, my mods are a mild streetport to the intake ports, and a high flow cat. I drove around Rancho with it, and it sounded so good. It was awesome-ly loud for the street and everyday use, but for track days, I think it might be ok because it was a little quieter than some other cars there. Every time I'd shift, sparks would come out the cats (found this out by revving it in the driveway), and it would pop a few times. It did not backfire however, so it seems my cats are doing their job. The cats were glowing orange on the inside, it was really neat!




What condition are they in? What year?

I'm looking for an extra set for track days.

 

if your taking the cat back of and leaving the cat on the car, then yes, it should be safe on the sounds. the cats on an RX-7 do a good job of shutting it up. I remember when I had an exhaust put on my car I was suprised at how quiet it still was..... all the way up untill I removed the cat. then OMG!!! it was LOUD. WAY WAY WAY to loud for everyday street use.... hell, to loud for racing.

on my drag RX-7 it was a header to a glass pack type muffler..... that was very loud to!

speaking of my drag car, her is a picture of it. I sure do miss her. (the last 2 pictures is from when it was still a street car)
