Socal love for the RX7

I just had to take a minute and gush about my new RX7. Going to buy it some necessities at autobacs today and I wonder is it strange to love my car SO MUCH! I am a girl so it might just be a girl thing but damn it's a wonderful car. the handling the make-up of the engine. I want to learn everything about it and I'm way behind. But I now have to go to work so I can make some more money for my RX7's parts and goodies.

Wow I really have to update my info that 86 RX7 was met with a cop tragedy. I hate cops that mess with anyone because they can. My new boy is an 88 NA white 2+2 RX7. And I understand about the autobacs thing I could barely find non-synthetic oil. But I was only going for fluids can't afford anything else right now. I'm looking for a second job today.

I find it interesting, when car girls refer to their car, they refer to them as boys. When car guys refer to to there cars, the call them girls.

My 7 is female! Good to see more girls with RX7s, especially 2nd gens. Most girls I know own FDs. I used to have a GTUs but that was a couple of years ago, now I have a FD

If you really loved your 7 then you would rebuild your own motor like Rotorchick did with her FD!

Dave, refer to above statement. Apparently not all girls = noobs. I personally witnessed her do every last bit of the rebuild with the exception of the street port.

i refer to my car as a girl...why else would it act so bitchy?

dave, girls do NOT = noobs. come on now.

Miaka, you really should come out to mazfest-its a really fun event, and a good place to get to know other rotorheads. ill be there with my FC-in race trim(finally)

to answer your original question, it IS possible to love a car THAT much....but it is also possible to HATE a car that much(owning a 7 is a love/hate relationship-just wait till you work on it)

its really great to meet some more girls who are into cars, feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about anything

Rotorchick and RXgirl7 I think I will need to talk you gals into being my RX7 bestfriends because I intend to do all the work myself. It will take alot of pratice and knowledge though. I would ask the guys but since I have no mechanic people think I'm nuts. Done my own brakes though.
