Ok so I went to check out the route today, and heres what it looks like. Everything in Green is open.

I went all the way up the Angeles Crest into Palmdale.

Once we get to Mt. Emma either way if we go striaght or right, it takes us into town, and its all boring straight roads w/55 mph speed limit.

All we can do is go as far as we can then turn around. In all three directions highlighted in green are open.

The only way that will not take us back the same way is the one highlighted in dark green.

That road will take us into Sunland.

Seems short, and 1/4 of it is going back the other direction. I totaled 160 miles. Doing the route highlighted in blue...

Thats not including the other green routes, which would add another 40+ miles.

Any suggestions???

I started this route @ 11:09am and got to Mt. Emma at around 11:30am.
(damn I didnt realize I got there that quick)

Then coming back taking the lil side blue route and back into town @ 1:30pm.

So If we include the other green routes Id say another 1hr or so of crusing.

I can finally run my car!!! I ran REALLY hard last night with a new radiator and didn't have a single heat problem AT ALL I was so amazed.. 2nd gear redline anyone?!

Only thing slowing my down, or NOT slowing me down, was the brakes frying... wheee.

So I'll be there if I can wake up... most likely I'll just wait until you guys go by my house and join the lineup there heh... I'm assuming you guys are coming in through Angeles Crest from Sunland right?
