Ahh, the tuning... man... I wouldn't trust that at all.

If I go to get my car tuned, I would like to see a show car with some serious power or at least some reliable references, and proof showing that the socalled tuner... tuned the car themselves.

Yeah, I am thinking we make the wallmart lot the starting point next year for the whole area, and then advertise our group as the late start... you know for the people that don't want to get up and drive at 5 am to meet a 8 am bay area or sac caravans.

And yeah.. maybe a little faster... 11 hours down... only 6 hours back...

And from what I heard... the first bay area group also had some lameo in a Corrolla that didn't want to get passed.

 

Driving to sevenstock is some of the fun too, have someone leading the pack with a valentine and your all good, i was doing over 100mph on the 241 and 261 the whole way down!

I met a prior owner of my REPU. Owned it from 96-00. Got some good stories and background on the truck. Harold said "It is a survivor! It made it!". Real cool. And his son Vince is on the forum too.
