good luck. Just bring all the documentation you have, insurance paperwork proving you where covered during the time, registration on car etc.. drivers license of course, tell them your going to school currently, it was late, weather wasnt too great etc.

Do some research on that area where you had the accident, see if there was prior accidents there b4.. A few years ago, my friend was rounding a corner and a oncoming van jumps into his lane and he jumps onto the shoulder to avoid it, and he hit some students who happened to be walking in the street *no sidewalk , just dirt run off*, one of the kids eventually died and my friend had to do the whole court trial thing, he got cleared of it, and there was reports that similar accidents happened in prior years. Now that street has paved sidewalks. Though last I heard, the city brung the case back up and wanted to go after his *** for a few million for damages some bullshit like that. My friend didnt have to do any time either..

Your young, they just want to scare you a lil as a learning lesson, you should be ok imo.
Just bring one of your friends with you as a witness.

They ended up dropping it due to me being a minor at the time, when I was booked it showed up I was recently 18 the lady at the da office said.

Soo that was a scare for nothing -_-

thanks for all the tips and such guys, I went prepared but my name wasnt on the court papers, what a waste of time these people can be

Hyper, that sounds horrible man your poor friend...

There was two more accidents right after mine due to cars slipping on the road, thus I don't see why people here keep saying it was MY fault, the chp even told me the road is slippery as hell.
