Any caravans heading out there from the O.C.?

 

So fris, how did your "BREAK" in go?

 

Unfortunately not. There will be a caravan from Griffith Park to Thousand Oaks. I'll be there to head that up and the remainder of the cruise. Folks are more than welcome to arrange a meet point in OC and caravan to Griffith Park or Thousand Oaks. I'll leave it up to you all. Use this thread to set it up BUT set a meet point/time and keep it. Let's try and avoid confusing people

Dunno bout Adee, but LC said he's leading the pack in the above post. I'll be cruising along, see what my mpg is goin to be for this whole trip, plus I 'll have extra baggage (in terms of a passenger to shoot pictures). You hear me boy??!! You'll be WORKING...



and paying for half my gas! hahahahaha


BTW.. anyone need an aluminum oil cap that day? lol I need to fund my gas that day!

Any estimation on distance traveled for the first and last parts of this drive?

 

Ummm I think it was about 400 miles total for the day... div by dos... maybe 200 miles one way? I'll have some stuff that morning at Griffith if you like to contribute to my gas fundage.

Bring your cash or CC to fill those tanks up everyone. You'll have at least two chance to contibute to OPEC before lunch time. Hopefully we don't get to RoadHouse Grill at 2:30pm.. like last time I was STARVING!

Is this event on rain or shine?

 

I doubt we will be driving if it's raining. We might postpone the event a week. I'll get back to you guys on that.

 

i think shine only, because that is why it was not done last year, i read that on the first post.

 

15 day outlook from Accuweather.com says lot's of sunshine. If anything changes you'll see it here.
