np!

turns out theres a hairline crack on my t2 motor, right were the oil cooler line goes.. soo when i went to start the car, oil came gushing out.. guess, the crack was soo small that it couldnt be seen, and the preasure from the oil just opened it up,

and also it turns out that the motor was s4 as well.

but thankfully i still have my original 91 s5 t2 motor, fresh rebuild, soo im going to just swap in it.

oh that sucks. sounds like what happened to RedBarron.... seems like a no big deal problem, but it really is. its pretty much un fixable. that Iron is useless.

at least the rest of the motot is still good though.

Sounds like a good plan. Sorry to hear about the bad motor. I was pretty bummed after installing my first rotary motor to only find out it had a blown coolant seal and had to be replaced. What a PITA. At least these motors go in/out pretty quick.

That looks great, and don't worry about posting pics, we all love them. I've seen you in a bunch of Sevenstock pictures. Were you the guy with a 50/50 premix of water/gasoline in the staging area?

^You can do a ride along with me. Others might let you hop in the car as well. If you have a friend racing you can also co-drive. Co-drive means each driver gets equal amount of laps. You would have to pay for the SCCA for ride along and full 35-40 fees to co-drive. Even if you do neither, sleep in, and just come out to watch it will you will really want to do it. I went and watched a race before I participated and I was blown away. I go to Sema every year, except this one comming up, and many car shows. The quality of cars at the races aren't seen together very often, none the less being thrown around a tight track.

I pulled an all-nighter a few years ago to do a swap. Rough night and next day. Especially considering it was about 100% in my garage, I flushed the tranny and diff while I was at it, and I must have drank at least a 12pk while doing it. GLWSwap!

all nighters can be fun.

for seven stock 8 we had to get my drag car loaded up and ready to go. (of course doing the finishing touches) all day.... THEN pulled an all nighter on a friends RX-8.

the night before seven stock we instaled:

MS front bumper w/ grill kit & fog light kit.
MS rear Bumper (not easy)
MS side skirts
Carbon Fiber hood
Pulleys
Intake
Exhaust (I think)
Short throw
Wind Shield banner
plus what ever else i cant think of. (springs maybe, I dont remember)

man that was fun! but a long long night, then had to wake up super early to go to seven stock.

........ yeah, Crazy!
