Shop in Phoenix ?

Okay, I'm too busy to work on my FD anymore. I've got some kind of major turbo/exhaust leak issue (probably didn't install it right when I did it). Is there a shop in/around Phoenix anyone can recommend ?

Dyno-Comp is a nice shop. They put together my single turbo FD with the help from Pineapple racing. If you every stop in ask for Jon Firpach...he's the tech that knows rotarys.

Hoping to get my car back from Turblown after...well...a lot of time over there.

I met Rich from Dyno-Comp a few times, a really nice guy. His shop is top notch...can't vouch for their knowledge of the rotary...but he is very organized and knows his stuff when it comes to Scooby's and Euro imports. Had a friend that took him his WRX and was very satisfied.

I'm assuming you guys are over at azrx7.com forums, how long until I get approved over there lol.

I'm countin the days till I get back to az, iraq sux. I'll have to go check out some of the local shops and 7's in the area.

Will do!

was your car an orange-goldish FD? There was one of those up at Dyno Comp the last time I was there. The engine from Pineapple was waiting to go in. I dynoed my car there that day with the stock twins.

5psi...262whp on their dyno, getting dangerously lean... seems like forever ago

As soon as Cozmo's car leaves, I'll have a party/BBQ at the shop. We've got a kegerator and god knows I'm going to drink myself silly...

Yeah thats my toy! I wanted to keep the FD as a daily driver so I had a conservative tune of 341 to the wheels.

Well it should be nice and cool outside again when that happens...lol. I still have to install the water injection setup and the tuning has been my biggest worry through this whole project.

Elliot, when you think about all the work on this car, you have to realize that a lot of the modification was under your advisement. I really hope it all is worth the wait. A long time considering it came in to get the pilot bearing replaced........

E.

Sat or Sun is good for me also.
The AZMC peeps are driving Tortilla flats the 22nd and RCCAZ is at F1 raceway the 23.
Both of those are to far for me and I like your place anyway, plus you're close.

Hey, I left my 7 back in Michigan, but I am definitely still interested in them. Is it cool if I come to the bbq in my Miata? At least I would be sticking with the same make...
