SF Bay Area Mazda Mechanics

Hey there again. Is there anyone here that can reccomend a mechanic in the San Francisco Bay Area? I might be going down to look at a TII this weekend, and would like to have the car checked out by a mechanic while I'm in the bay.

Also, this car is a 'salvage title' with 130k on the odo... I belive its an 88. In the picture I have (good quality) the car looks good, no visible damage, but I still havent heard back from the owner to find out what happened to it. Also, what exactly *is* a salvage title anyways? Is it a car that has been totaled in an accident, and repaired? If so the car could have taken relatively minor damage and been 'totaled' by the insurance company.

Anyways, if anyone has some info, I will be grateful.

I know this post is a little old but those links don't work any more. I am also from the South Bay Area. Basicly I just installed a rebuilt engine and it will only start with a push and it idles a little high. So if anyone knows any good mechanics in the south bay it would be greatly appresheated.

Thanks Alot
