What lap times were you guys running?

 

i ran a slow 1:56. first time having a fast car on the roval, im sure i can go alot faster on the banking, but was scared since i've never gone that fast before! haha

also should keep a schedule, been getting short 2 lap sessions by not keepin track of time, wish i had a pic of turn 2

I found I had a rolling lap of 1.49.9 last time in the afternoon, so I know there is more potential in the car.

I managed a mid 2:03 which was on par for a TTE car. First time driving that track.
1994 Mazda Miata with 123RWHP and 2360lbs with me in it on 225/45R15 Maxxis RC1's.

It is definitely not friendly to low horsepower cars haha, majority of the track is ripping down straightaways. I was flat out in 5th gear around the entire roval, I entered the nascar turn at 125MPH and by the time I exited I had scrubbed down to about 120MPH even with it matted.


I'll have GoPro footage up shortly that I'll post here.

 

I bet it did, I'll be hearing it in person when I fly down there to pick up my car that he is tuning right now. Hopefully he has his car fixed by then, but with how busy he is, it'll probably still be melted hahaha ok not funny

Here's some footage from on track. Taking the oval flat out in 5th gear the first couple times was a bit scary haha. I was about 4 seconds off the TTE record pace, not terrible for my first time at the track and on 100 treadwear tires. Unfortunately I spent most of the day getting my doors blown off on the straights, barely any corners for me to make up ground on hahaha.
