Sevenstock-15 @ the track
it broke like the broke *** owner

wow, free run at the track for me?
I only been there once, over 10 years ago, but not at the big track. I better get my *** working back on the RX-3 so I can have fun despite I will be running street tires.

I don't think the facility would allow blindass old filipinos to run on the track. It isn't a demolition derby.

My buddy already has his M.speed3 registered for the track (advanced driver). I'm planning on bring out my somewhat tired, mostly stock FB. She's seen a little time at Buttonwillow, but I plan on being in the beginner group.
I'm in the process of getting her roadworthy and tags, but my mechanic just told me he'd need 2 weeks getting parts. wtf????? I've known him for 15 years, so I'd like to place my trust in him, but I feel like just getting the car back from him and doing it myself now. I hope I don't have to tow her up there. But you know how hard it can be passing the sniffer test. Several smog related items are no longer available...
The 12A is bone stock, but won't be for long. The suspension is all RacingBeat. I won't be instilling fear into anyone, but heck...I'm learning.
For years I've been wanting to get involved with track day events in my own car. We're already talking about another track day at Buttonwillow in October.
Near term shopping list includes Oil cooler, Weber 48 and headers.

There was a broken RX-2-3-1 or whatever them POS that you own blocking traffic and I had to swerve to avoid hitting it.
I don't think your cars are made to make turns buddy. Please don't track your buckets.

As soon as they make the correction, there's gonna be less than 20 spots (as of today).

Single turbo 20B would get my vote. Too bad I'm a broke joke
But... (I'm cross posting this in the other track day sign up thread)
One other thing all track participants should be aware of too: you don't have to max out the car and beat on it 100% of the time. Not everyone is going to have a car prepared for the demands of that kind of driving.
Me, for example: I already know I'm going to have an oil temp issue and possibly a secondary water temp issue. All you have to do is keep an eye on the temps and drive accordingly. Take a cooldown lap if you have to, just keep it in a higher gear and keep RPMs down for a fraction (say 1/4 to 1/2 or even a whole) of a lap.
I'm out to have a good time, not to turn the fastest lap. Given that this track looks very fast I think it would be a good idea to chill out a little unless you want top honors
