As always, it's the first Saturday of the month in Pt. Loma. We've been coming
here since late 2008 and it has worked out well. Lots of parking; good food;
even better people!

We'll be discussing a karting event at K1 Sped in Carlsbad. The date
is June 11th, a Saturday. We're hoping to get more than enough

Nice, I will try to make it. I just moved my 7 down from Washington was looking for some people to hook up with down here. I stay in IB, do you know of any good rotary shops here in the San Diego area? From what I've been reading sounds like they are hard to come by down here.

PS I forgot to tell you guys while I was there today that on my way to the meet I saw Jay on the 805 north! I thought he was going to the meet too but I guess he was going elsewhere. I passed him and Lauren said he scowled at me.

 

Missed this I don't think it would have been cool to roll on my truck though since the FD is semi down.

 

Don;t worry if your car is temporarily out of commission. Come on out anyway. Many of us have done that one time or another.

The next meet is 4th of July weekend. Keep that in mind.

I will keep that in mind. Planning on going that direction any ways for that weekend. My car will be done by then. I'm just waiting on my coil overs to arrive. My car is too low and the tires are rubbing with the fender liners when hitting bumps and started to eat some wires.

Hey everyone, it was certainly a pleasure meeting you all yesterday. I did take some pictures but I took them using my cell phone, which was on a low setting, so I do apologize for the image quality/size. Anyways, here are the pictures that I took (combined them all into one image):


I know that I am missing an 8 and an FD because I took these before leaving and those individuals already left by then. I just didn't get the chance to take pictures earlier so sorry about that. Overall, I had a good time and I am definitely looking forward on the next one.

hey guys, i was the sti guy (colin) out there. i definitely plan on getting an FD soon...nice meeting you guys.

 

Glad to have some new faces out there this past weekend. I arrived late, got
sidetracked and did not get a chance to meet everyone. Integral, your weren't,
by any chance, the one wearing the Saints cap?


There will be an official announcement before the next meeting, but just a heads-
up. Since the sports bar has closed, we have decided to shift

the actual meeting location to a couple of blocks south. Still at Liberty
Station on the old NTC grounds, just a bit more central. Just
go straight down Historic Decatur Rd. The new location is an easier
walk to many more restaurants, and the parking lot is about as large.
For August, part of the group will still meet at the old
location, then head down the couple of blocks to the new place.

Again, there will be an announcement, with map. The calendar will also be
updated with the latest information.
