San Diego Meet!!!
man you need to listen man 2cute she knows her ****! and danzio is your man! want to save monies on labor, install it your self, Need help with tunning Danzio is your man, He does a lot...... no, no, let me correct that...... A **** load of rotary baja's, and other tunning's for baja's and not only that tunes street cars as well. Danzio is your best bang for the buck, and somebody who has been proven time and time again my friend. Get yo **** together, get the stuff you need and want to buy, and do your damn thing.
the emanage ******* sucks. simple as that. its junk.
click me for another turbo kit option
it is a substantial price difference but they are local. i know tim from in passing/through friends.
i can say i have never personally heard of anyone having good luck with a greddy turbo kit. but i can say that if you take that junk EMS they provide and promptly throw it in the garbage it will help.
im curious to know if a mazda ecu is like a nissan one in the sense that it can be programed to do everything for you that a stand alone would. secondly finding some one that is capable of tuning it would be a difficulty as i dont know anyone off the top of my head that is able to program one.
i would have to call chris at danzio to see how familiar he is with the emanage if you go that route but that guy is an amazing tuner and KNOWS rotaries. he has tuned the falken FD and rx8 as well as the silver and white FCs that speedmachine built and other various local rx7s. all those were tuned with haltechs but none the less that man knows what a rotary can and cant do.
my honest opinion/recomendation if you chose to go with the greddy kit do not use the emanage and then you will be fine. have it properly tuned by someone that knows what they are doing and at the expense of a few ponies run a safe tune. you will be much happier in the long run if you do.

no you can use any EMS you chose. the emanage just happens to come with all the greddy kits. as i have said more than once now i suggest not using the emanage
i try to not give advice cuz in the long run people need to learn for themselves. i have been doing this **** for a very long time and over the years i have learned what works and what doesnt. of course there are always new things entering the market (er i should say new companies) but usually its pretty easy with a close look to see how something is going to do.
i cant tell you how many times people ask for my opinion on what part to get and dont listen. its like "should i get the SS AutoChrome (cheap china knock off company) header or the Nismo (nissan's equivilent to MazdaSpeed) one?" i of course say nismo. they undoubtedly buy ss autochrome because its like half the price and then within a month the ss autochrome breaks and they come crying to me that it broke. well no **** it did i said it would when i was first asked. now have fun buying the same part twice when you could have just bought the right one the first time around.
i have no opinion i have never used one nor seen one up close.
i can say that i have heard from a reputable source they work well though. this person also did switch over to haltech when they came around more. maybe out of convenience i honeslty dont know
but i have no personal opinion/experience
