San Diego HELP!!

Anyone willing to help please PM me and we can work out something to be compensated with the trouble.

I need someone who knows what they are doing to look at the car and set the idle. Could be that I have some vacuum leaks, a TPS issue, or one of several other small issues that is keeping my car from idling semi normally. I'm not great with cars or know much about Rotary motors but thats why I'm shouting out for HELP!! I have been messing with these 2 idle adjustments on the throttlebody...one on top in the center, and one on top on the front corner with a locknut surrounding a setscrew for the past weeks and I cant have a normal cold start without having it idle right, instead it will have hard time breathing for 10 minutes then after its all warmed up, it will idle. My other concern is that I have too much back preasure on the muffler compared to my friends FC with almost similar exhaust mods. Is there a way to tone down the amount of preasure front my exhaust? Any help feed back or suggestions or bad remarks is appreciated .

Anyone willing to help please PM me and we can work out something to be compensated with the trouble.

Do you have an ECU upgrade/stand alone?

Nope. Everything stock except a bolt on exhaust header/mid-pipe/cat-back. Forgot to put down 89 or 90 GXl RX7. If that helps specific.

Oh.. This is what i can describe when I start the car at cold start. I turn the ignition key to start. It will go up to 1.5k or 2k for like 30secs and drops down to stall. To keep it from stalling I apply a little gas to it at 1.5k. Then once I know it wont stall. I let go of gas. Then the revving starts. The erratic idle from 1k to 1.3k for 10mins till its warmed up. After that it will idle straight at 1k then I take off drive to work. Thats how it is every time I start my FC.

Hmmmm are you losing coolant?
Could be bad.

Also, check the BAC on your intake mani.. check the wires and clips going to it and the vacuum lines on it.
That fucked up my idle when it wasn't working right.

I don't think I'm losing coolant.

Will you be able to preform this task hands on for me? I'm a visual learner... so I need someone to show me how its done and actually look at it. Because you might be able to find something else that is causing my idle issue. I mean if its a hard task. Just explain to me what I need to do and I'll do it myself

Wow, thanks for the replies and feed back guys. much appreciated! Someone told me about the Thermowax fast idle cam behind the throttle body , which I didn't know about. This may solve my cold start problem and as for the erratic idle up and down, he also said the TPS is causing this problem.

This Friday I'm planning to do some maintenance done to my car like spark plugs, oil , o2 sensor, thermostat change. Also, adjust the Thermowax fast idle cam. Hopefully this fix it.

Meatishtapehelmet - How far is Alpine from Mira Mesa? If anything and I can't figure it out, hit me up bro!

:edit:
Tip: Adjusting the fast idle cam is done when the engine is cold, and you won't know what RPM it will be set at until the engine is started. Turn screw (if you can reach it) in very small increments.

You also stated that when you start your car up it already goes to about 2000 RPM, which tells me that the thermowax/cold start assist is possibly not your problem. If the RPMs drops after only 30 seconds then a vacuum leak could be a suspecting issue.
