Come join us for the upcoming Coronado Speed Festival. While the event is the entire
weekend, we will be going on Sunday to watch the actual racing. We have special
passes for the Car Club Corral. This lets us park in a special area, right behind
the bleachers, along the main straight.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the gate. You can purchase a ticket as you enter into
the corral area.

Bring your sunscreen, hat, etc. If sunny, it can get quite hot. Bring a chair, too,
to sit around the cars in the corral. Oh yea, bring ear plugs, too.

i'm stationed on coronado right now so i'm going! ive seen that is saturday and sunday. but is there only racing on sunday!!??

 

Yes, technically, the racing is only on Sunday. Today was parctice, Saturday is more practice and qualifying. Check the Fleet Week link above for the detailed schedule.

Don't really know. Some info indicates both days and at teh end of the last events. So close to 5:00 PM. Web site is poor on real information.

 

newspaper info said drifting demo starts after the last race and ends at sunset.

Bruce tells me he is planning on bringing the red FD.

The Speedfest was heaven on Earth for car nuts. I enjoyed the heck out of it.

lol I was here working for GM I setup the ride and drive track and I was working the track it was a fun weekend for everyone
